"Mother" has a different meaning to me as to a common child, so as Mother's Day Gift this year I decided to honor an 83-year-old Women that raised 8 children of her own and more than 4 grandchildren including me.
This unconditional love for her compelled me to write a bit of me and her story.
Her name is Olivia and at 9 years old of age she was already working as a waitress and succeeding in school a true-life example.
Later she started a job where she stayed most of her life, she worked as a cleaner and helped nurses on their duties at the local general practice where she was loved and cared by everyone.
I was born in 1982 and my biological mother 16 at the time, just a teenager, can’t blame her.
My father I still don’t know his name or whereabouts.
The 80’s were harsh times for women’s in a country filled with inequality, and poverty.
Olivia took on the motherhood and she cared, fed and loved me as her own.
Olivia challenging life made her fearless, kind and loving.
I thank you mum for putting me in great hands and I thank you grandmother for being the mother of all mothers, the best mum in the world.
My recommendation for the Best Mother’s Day Gift is, appreciation for all that she done for you by telling her how much you love her, write her a letter, pen and paper, a real letter, then give her a big hug and tell her you here for her now.
Thank you for everything Olivia love you loads.
